At Physio Vallarta we care about your health and that of our Therapists, that is why in the face of contingencies we are adapting our cleaning protocols inside and outside the clinic.
Upon customer arrival:
1. Apply antibacterial gel on arrival
2. The use of face masks is mandatory, if you do not have one, one will be provided.
3. Have a washable plastic mat at the entry with disinfectant
4. Have a shoe rack available at the entrance for customers to leave their shoes there and enter the areas with socks (use of socks required)
5. If you have a companion, they must follow the same instructions and wait in the waiting room. To maintain the recommended spacing they may have to wait outside.
6. Take temperature with infrared thermometer.
After leaving your shoes go to reception area:
1. Mark the distance between the client and the reception of one and a half meters
2. Ask if you have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat
3. The Physiotherapist receives the client and directs patient to the work area
4. Inform the patient of possible restrictions on treatment techniques
5. When paying customer in reception area they will use antibacterial gel after receiving and delivering the money and change or the bank card.
Staff clothing and procedures:
1. Enter the clinic wearing casual clothing and you will need to change your uniform on the premises.
2. Wearing face shields
3. Therapist checks areas and performs “superficial” cleaning upon entering the clinic.
4. Hand washing before and after each session
5. Disinfection of areas and equipment used
6. You will use gloves when you make direct contact with the facial area
7. At the end of the working day, the therapist changes clothes, takes his/her clothes to wash at home and takes a shower on the premises if possible.
8. Wash the face mask daily
9. Take out the trash daily
General cleaning measures:
1. Cleaning of equipment used after each client
2. Appointments will be 30 minutes apart for cleaning
3. The use of dry needling is temporarily suspended.
4. The use of electrodes will be assigned to individual patient.
5. Reuse of facial towels is strictly prohibited.
When scheduling emphasize:
1. If possible do not come accompanied, because of limited space in the reception area some people might be asked to wait outside.
