      Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is the informed and intentional application of clinical methods and interpersonal stances derived from established psychological principles for the purpose of helping people modify their behaviors, cognitions, emotions and other personal characteristics in the direction that the participants deem desirable.

Systemic approach: the therapist offers a systemic view that involves, among other things, taking responsibility and power to change one’s beliefs and actions to generate new outcomes.

Individual therapy: looking at the person as a system composed of different subsystems that relate to each other: the system of their thoughts, emotions, sensations and actions; also in relation to other people in their systems of belonging, such as family, company or friends. In addition to the environment or context of the person.

Couples therapy: In systemic couples therapy, the focus is on the relationship and not on the individual persons.

Sometimes, the objective will be to provide new tools to achieve a new scenario away from conflict and to recover the relationship. On other occasions, the objective may be to accompany the couple in the process of discovering whether both want to continue in the relationship or whether it is best to consider separation.

        Complementary Physiotherapy

        Dry Needling:

Intervention by using an acupuncture needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate myofascial trigger points, through certain techniques of movement of the needle within the skin. This technique is used for the treatment of painful muscular points (trigger points) which can be produced by various causes such as repetitive movements, body postures maintained for a long time, blows, etc.

        Electro Puncture

Electropuncture or percutaneous electrical stimulation is a technique that combines the effects of dry needling with the effects of electrotherapy to address myofascial trigger points, using needles as electrodes connected to an electrostimulator through alligator cables. This technique favors a maximum relaxation of the affected muscles, and the reduction of pain.

        Electro Neuromodulation

It is a technique that allows intervention in the functioning of the peripheral nervous system, through the application of electrical pulses through needles used as electrodes, to stimulate it by increasing or decreasing its excitability. It is used to treat the symptoms of chronic pain and injuries of the neuromusculoskeletal system.
